"Trust me when I say this—just call them!
After my car got locked, I waited on the roadside for over an hour for another locksmith who never showed up. Out of pure desperation, I called Alcatraz. Their office was only about 8 minutes away, and they dispatched someone the moment I got off the phone. Giovanni arrived in just 3 minutes!
They also gave me a flat-rate price upfront, so there were no surprises.
A huge shoutout to Giovanni. After standing in the hot sun for more than an hour, I was exhausted, and he kindly offered me water from his own bottle without me even asking. That small act of kindness meant a lot and turned a stressful situation into one I’ll always remember.
Thank you, Giovanni, and thank you, Alcatraz, for your incredible service. I couldn’t recommend you more!"

"I had a great experience with Alcatraz Locksmith. They rekeyed two of my exterior doors so everything matched, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. "I recently needed help finding and installing a new lock that would actually fit my specific needs, and I'm so glad I called Alcatraz Locksmith in Chula Vista. From the very first call, Giovanni impressed me with his incredibly quick response time. He answered right away, listened carefully to what I was looking for, and didn't waste any time getting the process started.
What really stood out was how Giovanni went out of his way to help me locate the perfect lock. Instead of just pushing whatever was convenient, he took the time to understand my security concerns, budget, and the exact fit I needed for my door. He recommended a high-quality option that was a perfect balance of strength, ease of use, and style – exactly what I was hoping for but didn't even know existed until he showed me.
The installation itself was professional, clean, and timely. Giovanni showed up right on schedule, worked efficiently without any mess or unnecessary delays, and made sure everything was tested thoroughly before he left. He even took a few extra minutes to explain how the new lock worked and gave me some helpful tips on maintenance.
Alcatraz Locksmith has clearly been doing this for years (since 1995, I learned), and it shows in their attention to detail and customer-focused approach. If you're in the Chula Vista or San Diego area and need a locksmith who’s reliable, knowledgeable, and truly cares about getting it right, do yourself a favor and call them. Giovanni and the team exceeded my expectations in every way.
Highly recommend – 10/10 would use again!"
"We lost all copies of our mail keys So naturally I panicked and contacted Alcatraz locksmith. Not only were they able to get me scheduled for the same day, but Ricardo came out and fixed my lock in 10 minutes, maybe less. He was professional, thorough, and kind.
